{Behind the Scenes at 5HH}

After the birthday party last weekend, we’ve had a pretty laid-back week trying to eke out every last bit of summer that we can. And what’s more summery than eating wedges of watermelon?

Watermelon_700pxNot to be left out of anything messy, the baby enjoyed some watermelon (and other random tidbits) of her own.

But it’s this child who’s a pro at keeping me on my toes. I walked into the playroom yesterday to this scene: a pile of couch cushions on the floor and the 3-year-old in Buzz Lightyear wings with a glint in his eye that conveyed every intention of jumping off the couch. For a child who knocked his front teeth loose three times in the span of two weeks not too long ago, I’m thinking this looked like a not-very-good idea. Sorry, kiddo, you’re busted…and Mama has the iPhone pic to prove it.

Thanks so much for stopping by, today and always! Enjoy your weekend!
