A small gesture to let them know that your family is excited to have them this year will make your child feel good and your teacher feel appreciated. {Featured Blog: Joyful Healthy Eats}

Today I’m excited to feature Joyful Healthy Eats, a blog full of recipes that are as beautiful as they are tasty. And as an added bonus, most of them are healthy, too! Krista is a stay-at-home mom and a self-proclaimed lover of food. A quick tour of her blog will reveal that the girl knows her way around the kitchen! From how-to recipes that walk you through the basics to recipes with appealing ingredients and flavor combinations, Joyful Healthy Eats will intrigue everyone from the kitchen novice to the experienced chef. I’ve had so much fun exploring Krista’s site! It was hard narrowing down my favorites, but five of the recipes that I can’t wait to try are shown below.

I don’t know what it is about boys and big trucks, but this was my view on trash day as my two little guys got comfy waiting for the garbage truck to roll by.

We also went and had lunch with Daddy at his office this week before the school schedule kicks back in and makes doing so next to impossible.

LunchWithDaddy_700pxCan you call your baby a baby anymore after she turns one, or has she entered technical toddlerhood at that point? One month to go until that happens, but regardless, I think I’ll be calling this youngest one my baby, now and forevermore. So yes…I believe I’ll end today with a gratuitous shot of the baby girl. She was focusing on something she was holding in her hands and I was focusing on her baby eyelashes and chubby cheeks… 😉
