{Behind the Scenes at 5HH}

January has mostly been a month of getting back into the swing of things after the holidays around here. We’ve also been braving some fairly cold weather compared to what we typically get. Now don’t laugh, residents of the northern states, but Texas pretty much shuts down when we get even a trace of ice. The cars (and streets) here are simply not equipped to drive in those conditions! As a result, while many of y’all have had school closures thanks to below zero temperatures and blizzard amounts of snow, we’ve missed two days of school this month because of temps in the 20s accompanied by sleet. Oh how my boys wished that it had been snow! But they were happy to have a couple days off from school and explore the ice nonetheless.

FlyingGirl_450pxHappy February, friends, and I hope you all have a fun Super Bowl Sunday! Don’t forget to enter that giveaway and thanks, as always, for stopping by!
