Fluttering Leaves Fall Quote {by Emily Bronte} ~ FREE PRINTABLE!

Last week, when I started pulling my fall decorations out of the closet, I realized that I still had a summertime quote displayed on our mantle. I figured I’d better remedy that zippity quick with something more seasonally appropriate.

Today I present to you this free, high resolution fall printable featuring a lyrical quote about fluttering autumn leaves by Emily Bronte. We don’t really have a lot of trees with color-changing leaves here in central Texas, and our live oaks actually lose their leaves in the spring as opposed to the fall, but a girl can wistfully pretend that she lives in a big autumn cliche, can’t she?

I hope that this printable helps to get you in the spirit of fall as you usher in the exhilarating season of falling leaves, crisp apples, pumpkin patches, hay rides, cooler weather, comfort food, football, trick-or-treating, and giving thanks. I always fancied myself a summer girl, but I’m thinking the subsequent season sounds pretty appealing when I list it out like that.

Happy fall, y’all!

I am delighted to have found your blog via the blog livelaughrowe. I pinned so many wonderful items from your blog. Then went to download a couple and am running into issues with your printable for fall – it only shows a couple words when downloading. I have tried several times with the same result. Would love a bit of help if possible please.

Hi Dawn! Thanks so much for the sweet words about my blog, but I’m really sorry you’re having problems with this printable! I just tried it again, and it downloads and prints for me without a problem. I tested it on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. I also asked several friends to try downloading it from their computers and it worked for them as well. So I’m not sure what could be going on when you try to download it???

Unfortunately, I am not very tech savvy. If it ever didn’t work for me, the first thing I would try would be opening it from another browser, and then I’d probably restart my computer and try again! The fact that some of the words show up for you makes me wonder if it’s a speed issue with your modem and the rest of it might eventually pop up?

I wish I could help more. I hope you’ll let me know if you’re able to get it to work! Do my other printables download for you okay? If you can’t get this one to work, I’d be happy to e-mail the PDF directly to you. Just let me know! Thanks again for bringing this to my attention…hope you have a great night! πŸ™‚

I’ll be going into your posts to see what you’ve been doing. I Love finding new blogs to explore and subscribe to. Love what I see so far.
I’ve been watching the weather channel since they were showing about the flooding disaster on the front range. The flooding and desolation included at least 17 counties, wiped out towns. Last night there was a fund raiser in Grand Junction, CO,( we live about 20 miles west of there), over a million was raised for the people affected by the flooding. It broke my heart to hear about people that were killed in flooding and lost everything they had. I try to imagine how it would be, how can anybody understand that?
We live about 2 1/2 miles from CO river but we’re on a small hill. Makes us think as the river has run over the roads before. I hope anybody that feels inclined will pray for the people on the front range.
I feel so blessed that we are ok, we’re lucky to be on the western slope but now I wonder what could happen on our side. It is very frightening.

I’m so glad you like the printable, Jane Ellen.

Yes, the flooding in CO is devastating and I can imagine that it’s very scary to live in that area right now. I hope that your family and home continue to avoid the floods. Everyone affected in that region is in my prayers. Take care…
