This fun teacher appreciation gift is easy to put together…just decorate a Mason jar with the provided free printables, fill with donuts, and add a Starbucks gift card!

Surprise, friends! Your regularly scheduled recipe is being interrupted today by a new free printable! My longtime readers know that I used to create and share seasonal free printables about once a month, but for some reason, I’ve gotten out of practice. So when my good friend Kristi invited me to take part in a blog hop of Teacher Appreciation Printables with a group of fabulously talented bloggers, I was excited to jump at the chance!
That’s right, folks…not only do you get the printables to put together this cute Donuts + Coffee gift idea…
…but you can also hop around to grab ALL OF THESE creative teacher appreciation printables as well!
So after you’re done drooling over donuts, be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post to access the links for checking out those other free printables. 🙂
But before we get to that, how much would your favorite teacher love to be treated to a little something sweet (donuts) as well as a gift card to his or her favorite coffee shop, where s/he can look forward to a yummy drink, breakfast, or after-school snack?
As a former teacher, I can attest that if you want to show your appreciation, teachers universally welcome gift cards. 😉 I always enjoyed receiving Starbucks gift cards because fancy coffee (or other coffee shop treats) felt like an indulgence…and who deserves to be indulged more than our caring, hard-working, underpaid teachers?
As a parent on the other side of the equation these days, I enjoy giving Starbucks/coffee shop gift cards because not only are they fun and useful, but they can be purchased in large or small increments, depending on the occasion and my budget. It probably wouldn’t be worth giving a $5 gift card to Target…but a $5 gift card to Starbucks would be looked upon as a thoughtful gesture. Whether the gift card that you give buys one drink or multiple drinks and treats, it’s sure to be appreciated.
After filling your Mason jar with mini donuts or donut holes, simply top the lid with the round printable (“Teacher, you’re tops!”), affix the label to the front (“Donut ever doubt…”), and tie the tag around the top with a gift card to your favorite coffee shop attached with double-sided tape (“…we appreciate you a latte!”).
How easy-peasy is that? Not to mention cute, punny, and as frugal or extravagant as you wish to make it. 😉
So as Teacher Appreciation Week rolls around and the end of the school year approaches, don’t miss out on the opportunity to say THANK YOU to those educators who are entrusted with the care and learning of your beloved children, day in and day out. Their job is big, it’s hard, it’s critically important…and they need our support. An occasional gesture to show our genuine appreciation never hurts either!
