EASY · HEALTHY · COMFORTING

“This is my go-to recipe! There's so much depth and flavor to this dish that it seems  like it should be complicated, but it's actually very simple to make. Delicious meal!”

- Dani

This recipe is perfect for using up a ham bone or leftover ham, or you can simply stir in diced ham!

Let's make it!

Dried White Beans + Ham

1

Put rinsed and drained white beans into the bottom of a slow cooker. Nestle a ham bone, ham hock, or ham  shank on top.

Add Veggies

2

Add carrots, celery, and garlic to the crockpot.

Add  Chicken Broth

3

Pour chicken broth or stock into the slow cooker, over the other ingredients.

Add Seasonings, Cover + Cook

4

Stir in herbs and spices. Place lid on crockpot and set to LOW. Cook for 7 to 9 hours or until  beans are tender.

Remove the Ham

5

Remove the ham bone/ shank/hock from the soup. Pull the meat from the bone and discard any cartilage or fat.

Puree

6

If desired, use an immersion blender to puree just enough of the soup to give it a creamy consistency while leaving most of  the beans whole.

Serve & enjoy!!!
